Meet Rachel

The decision to become a doula was an easy one for me. My whole life, I always wanted to be a mom. I was born with a deep desire to take care of an nurture other people. It took a lot longer than my husband and I had planned to make that dream come true. So we adopted our oldest two sons when they were 6 and 7. Shortly after that, my first biological son was born. Sixteen months later, our second biological son was born. Four kids in two years. We certainly had our prayers answered! Having been given the gift of experiencing childbirth, it made me realize how strong a womans body really is. So becoming a doula felt right. Birth shouldn’t be scary and feared but rather embraced and enjoyed. My goal is to offer compassion, understanding, knowledge and evidence based advice during your birth journey. Support for the partner is important as well! Please check out all of the services offered including placenta encapsulation and apothecary for pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

I look forward to hearing from you!
